COIL GOVERNANCE COUNCIL OVERVIEW

The COIL Governance Council, a site-based decision-making body, is responsible for charter accountability, modification, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the charter school. The Council is made up of one(1) to four(4) COIL parents, one(1) to four(4) members from the community, the school’s executive director (non-voting member), and three (3) teacher advisors (non-voting members). Actualizing the goals of the school’s mission and charter is a priority of the Council, and the Council will provide guidance and support to achieve this.
